About Dr. Fahad Alebrahim
Dr. Fahad Alebrahim is a Consultant in Gastroenterology and the Head of the National Program for Early Detection of Colon Cancer. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine in the United States, and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endoscopy, and Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Crohn’s disease) at McMaster University, Canada. He is also a fellow of both the American and Canadian Colleges of Gastroenterology, and holds a certificate in capsule endoscopy from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Dr. Fahad graduated with honors and distinction, ranking among the top ten in his MD program at Arabian Gulf University (AGU). His medical research was selected as one of the top 10 research projects at McMaster University in 2006, and was also chosen among the top 50 research papers by the American College of Gastroenterology in the USA in 2010. He is an international lecturer in gastroenterology, especially in the field of chronic ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
